306 Gti6 Brakes On To 205 1.6gti

right, i have

base model hubs,

my new shock and lowering springs

the calipers from a gti6

410mm hose's

 

i'm atempting to fit tonight as the shock are made up already so it should be a straigh swap

 

anyone think of anything else i will need, dont wanna get caught out....

should be good to go. It's a good idea to replace the bolts while you're down there too, can be got very cheaply from Pug, normally in stock too.

are those 410mm hoses standard 205 ones? if so they need to be longer.

i found 2 types listed for the 205, 350mm with springs, or 410 without springs, i'll grab some slightly longer ones tomorrow from work, just to be safe, the callipers didnt turn up today :lol: but it gave me the chance to give the hub carrires a dust over with some black paint, and also gives me tomorrow to give the shocks a clean tomorrow after work

There are some peugeot hoses that fit the same as the standard ones but are a bit longer, they're off a large peugeot van from about 1985 that I can't think of the name of :lol:

I just checked Servicebox, 1.9's used 410mm, so you need longer than any 205.

Just got some 440mm hose 470mm complete lenght, hopefully this will do the job, cheers for the info
