richardjw 1 Posted June 9, 2010 Guys, I've been on all the usual sites, but still drawing a blank Any idea what thread the standard 1.9 gti brake pipe nuts are? I'm replacing all the front lines, and need new nuts. Cheers Richard
Anthony 1,002 Posted June 9, 2010 The unions are mostly 10x1 which any motorfactor should stock, although the input side of the 1.9 compensators uses a larger thread if you decide to do the rears whilst you're there (if they've never been done, the lines on the beam and above the fuel tank are normally in very poor condition by now). ade 4wd 11 Posted June 9, 2010 As Anthony said all M10x1, the larger unions for the brake compensators are M12x1. All standard stuff available from any motor factors.
richardjw 1 Posted June 10, 2010 Cheers guys. I'd ordered some from an online shop, totally the wrong ones, even after giving him the chassis number! Off to Beds Battery in the morning. Thanks again
