406 M/c

I have just fitted gti6 front calipers to my 309 gti and i need a new m/c. So i went to a motor factor amd they said there is too types one is a bosch and the other is a ap. Does anyone know what one i need?

I'm still using the standard M/C, works fine for me. Try it, you might like it.

 

Didn't think the manufacturer makes much difference, you need a 23.8mm bore if i remember correctly. same as the 2.2 litre turbo 406.

The 406 non abs Bosch is the one to get for quality, it makes the brake bite higher than using the original one.

Yes, exactly the same, although if the car was originally a 1.6 you will need to blank off one of the outputs - the Bosch one I bought came with a blanking plug.
