A good video, the driver clearly knows the circuit well. I have driven Cadwell quite a lot and can see from the video where the Evos are holding the 205 up, it is also bloody frustrating when they are in the way for most of the lap, but go stinking off down the straight when you cannot catch them!

CW is quick and smooth, we had a karting meet in Leeds last year and no-one got close. Next time he's pedalling. :)

Nice driving Evo is hardly holding him up though, if everyone just pulled in when they seen a car behind there wouldnt be videos like this

Yes the evo is breaking heavy in the tight corners etc and its obvious he doesnt know the track but the 205 is hardly pushing him he could of been passed if he really wanted early on before the long sweeping bends

I had some great fun and battles with faster cars at Cadwell and I'm hoping to have some more of the same again in July. Its the long straight that I get caught out by but many using a more expensive car appear to get the jitters in the corners!

Hehe that's me :D can't believe it's now nearly 6 years ago! :o The exhaust snapped at the downpipe but luckily it was a noisy day and didn't have any issues even though it was deafening inside the car, especially at mid revs where it was hugely boomy. I would say that's when it was at it's quickest round there - although those EVOs weren't exactly being driven properly IMO.

I've booked on at Cadwell too in July too but not in the 205, there's quite a few of us on here book in Pugtorque's thread.

Yea I've still got the 205 but it spends most of its days lazing on the drive. I run it now and then to keep things moving but unfrtunately I've not driven it properly for a few years now. I keep thinking about selling it but some of the bodywork is now a bit tatty but the engine and gearbox are very strong plus the wheels/tyres, suspension etc are all fine.

I'm taking a ZM Coupe to Cadwell, it's not quite as manouvreable as the 205 and it was nowhere near as good as the 205 through that chicance section after the mountain.

Lol, I'm sure it wasn't quite like that hehe, I just avoided the carnage :D. I also seem to remember someone who was quick had to retire off to the pits as he made himself throw up :o

yeah I remember that aswell :D could have held it if they would let me get off the track when I asked

great marshalling at that venue though, they were quick to flag down the kart going flat out into me lol

Yep I'll see you there! I get the impression most of you are all staying over the night before? I'll be coming up in the morning so aiming to get there for about 8am. I just need to try and figure out some kind of camera mount at some point now as they didn't let me use my suction mount (B-Hauge SM1) last time!
