munster 0 Posted June 6, 2010 Picked up a set of seats the other day, only to notice this when i got home. Has something just come unclipped? I know there should be material covering that gap, but the back rest seems very soft and can easily be pushed back. Any ideas?
Pugleyrich 37 1 Cars Posted June 6, 2010 The middle section is supposed to lift up to that point so it is normal to have the gap when pulling it apart. The leather should be clipped down to the frame, so should the middle section. It may be that a couple have come off, or someone has had the covers off before and not fitted them back on properly. Eunosfield 0 Posted June 8, 2010 Easy fix mate if you've got some time to spare. Take the cover off some of the way by releasing the little hog rings (needle nose pliers are useful) and replace them with little zip ties when you put it back together. One of the little rings has probably just pinged off at some point and it's come loose. I was petrified about doing something like this with mine but it turned out it wasn't half as hard as I thought!
