I am going to be recarpeting my pug in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if any of you can advise on some soundproofing material to go under the carpet?

Have you looked at prices of soundproofing kits? There are a few places that do them for cars on google, and there are sellers on ebay that sell rolls of it for you to cut to size

I was looking on ebay just now, I might not know where to look and what to look for, but it seems bloody expensive stuff!

Id like to try the liquid soundproofing stuff iv heard about.

I've used dynomat in the past and it was very good, but also quite expensive.
