Cable Question

on fitting the gti-6 box in my 205 (93) the clutch cable now doesn't reach i have changed the fork and arm for the be1 on the gearbox but any ideas on which cable will be long enough and fit correctly?

BE1 fork/arm does not fit the gti6 box, so I would imagine you have fitted a BE3 one

 

you need a standard 205 BE3 cable if you've fitted a BE3 push type arm instead of the original Pull type arrangement.

I always thought that late be1 boxes had the save style release fork as the be3, would that not fit?

my mistake it must be a BE3 then but i thought the BE1 box was fitted to the mi16 as standard so whats the difference between them?

MI16 BE1 have a BE3 style arm.
