How Do I Change Power Steering Rack?

I think the power steering rack is on its way out how do i convert it to non power steering and what do i need?

Are you aksing about changing the rack or converting it to non-PAS then as they are 2 different questions really.

 

To convert it to non-Pas you'll need not a lot, unless you want to actually remove the PAS related gubbins, then you'll need a non-PAS alternator mount, and that's about it. The rest involves just removing stuff!

As said. You'll need a non pas rack and matching lower steering column. Some are square, some are splined. As for alternator it depends where your pas pump is located.
