tell them to pull their finger out and do it the manual way :D

what do you need exactly?

have a look at the Servicebox sticky thread (the layout has changed slightly recently, but the data is all there)

that VIN works :D

you may well find however that you can get most of the seals required elsewhere?

what exactly are you after? Liner seals and cam seals James Turnell (J Turnell) does in the for sale/group buy section, headgaskets etc can be had from local motorfactors.

hi need most gaskets and seals also shells and thrust washers was just to get a price first to compare to AM products then take it from there.

the crank is fine no wear or marks . should i still get it re ground which would mean over size shells

even if it looks ok I would still get it measured as it will still be worn even if not damaged :D

Peugeot Parts employees are notoriously useless without a chassis number, ive had this problem so many times; thats why i started using servicebox myself which in turn landed me a job on parts for citroen! (so now i am one of the "Chassis number please!!!" people), although with about 30 seconds of effort they could easily find the right parts for you; i get alot of Peugeot customers coming to me at citroen now instead because i actually try and find the parts whereas Peugeot wont even start looking without a VIN.

Although on the flipside you do get the customers who dont have a VIN but also dont know their engine code, year, or even model in some cases and still expect you to find the damn part! So....swings and roundabouts, but i find the best way to find a part is to get a servicebox account and tackle it yourself! (like me, you might land a job through it aswell!)

Anyways that was a completely irrelevant rant but i am avoiding work as we speak!

Sam.

Its the few seconds of silence that makes me laugh after you tell them you dont have the VIN because the Mi is in a 205! Confuses the hell out of some of them. I must say the dealers in Weston Super Mare can be good.

Well anyone who needs a Vin feel free to keep a record of the one I posted.

The car is now cube shaped. :)
