Lightening 1600 205 Flywheel

hey guys

 

we're currently completely re-building the bottom-end of our 1.6 engine with all brand new bearings, liners, pistons and rings etc and wondered whether it would be worth lightening the flywheel whilst we're at it?

 

From reading up they weigh around 6kgs standard so how much lighter can they be safely made and how much difference could it make?

 

It's a forest rally car so lives in the 4500rpm-7500rpm range, I'm presuming we wont lose any torque whatsoever if we did lighten it?
