Who Can Fit Immobilisers In Herts/beds/cambs?

Recommended Posts

I had a toad cat 1 immobiliser "professionally" fitted to my 205 by autotronix in bedford a few years ago, got the VSIB certificate still but when i was rewiring the fuseboard/loom i discovered they had just twisted wires together  and it hadnt been working properly for yonks so i ripped it out in disgust

now come to insure the car again and apparantly i have to have it - so after someone who can rewire it properly without hacking my wiring! can anyone recommend any businesses/individuals in herts/beds/bucks/cambs area who can wire in a toad (i have the instructions somewhere) without hacking my wiring to pieces again please? ive got 30 days to get it refitted

cheers :)

That's pretty much the normal for "professionally" installed alarms I find.

I hope that you labelled the wiring up on the alarm before you removed it, as most of the key wires are black (there's a coloured tag on them when new which you cut off when you install) on previous Toad alarms I've done (ie, power, 2x earth, ignition, and both immobiliser circuits) and if it's unlabelled it'll be a pain to install as they'll just be a bunch of unlabelled black wires.

sideways danny

I used Autotronix years ago. bunch of monkeys. Also have a reputation for stereos being stolen from customers car very shortly after purchase (they take the full address of the customer for every item sold). Dodgy

Used a place in Stacey Bushes (milton keynes) more recently called Premier, and they're very good
