has anyone used the compbrake or ab motorsport bronze bushes to replace the plastic ones on the gear lever?

if so are they worth it or just go with standard pug plastic?[its on a rally car ]

Baz

If they're the type that use an inner sleeve for the bush to pivot on then yes, if not, no. The ones from Stew at BakerBM.com or Miles at PugRacing.com are the better, tried and tested ones.

I've got some on a CompBrake gear lever copy. Gives a tighter feel, but I had the bushes and lever made at work

How much are they?

the plastic bushes on the lever itself are different to the ones that miles and stew sell, they are still available from peugeot, I fitted some to Sarty's EVOII a few days ago and it made such a difference I couldn't believe it, combine with one of Miles/BBM quadrant pivot bush kits and Miles's linkages you wonder why people bother with a quickshift!!

DrSarty did have to buy a bag of ten as the dealer wouldn't sell him just the pair, I'm sure he'll pop a pair in the post if you drop him a PM, I think they were about a pound or so each.

I've just placed an order with the dealer for the bushes on the lever itself. For a pack of 10 cost me £5.60, so could be worse!

Part number 2450 27
