Wheel Spacer Probleme

Recommended Posts

Will Eastman

Hey just bought some hubcentric spacers, (the ones with long bolts that go all the way through into the hub) i have put them on the back and they add 20mm each side. But i have had to take them off as when they were on they made a rubbing/knocking sound. Anyone know why this could be??? I know that its not the tyre rubbing anywhere.

Maybe the bolts could be too long and are hitting of the springs or something on the brake shoes.

With the spacers fitted and the wheel off, turn the hub and see if anything is catching.

If your sure the tire isnt rubbing anywhere then it can only be that the bolts are too long.
