Coolant Level Sender Wiring

I'm trying to get my phase 2 coolant level sender working... this is the plug at the sender, can anyone confirm where the wire on terminal 1 (red wire - number has faded away) is supposed to connect to, as my haynes only has wiring for a ph1?

The other two wires are connected correctly to the dash & earth, so I'm guessing the one I'm missing is a switched live from somewhere?
