Filter King Problems: Any One Else Have Leakage Problems?

Recommended Posts

Stu

Hi all,

Ive got a Filterking on mine running the 45's but the bloody thing just will not seal, its fine for a while, then starts pissing out of the seal at the top of the bowl, now both the seals (inc. the filter one) are all fine, the bowl is perfect, as is the underside of the unit itself where the seal fits..

Anyone else had a similar issue? Or more importantly, any clues on how to solve it?

same here, however although mine was new it hadn't been used for some time after purchase so I took it all apart and made sure the seals etc were clean and were tight when I redid it all up. I had a leak from one point but I put a small grommet type of washer in there for added sealing and to date (2.5 years down the line) its been fine.
