Well i recently replaced the wheel bearing on one side of my 1998 gti6 with abs and that was more or less the £30 mark.

 

Il get a price and set next week so i'll let you know on this thread.

I am/was planning on getting a set from GSF, will GSF have good enough ones to use or is it better going to the Pug dealers for a good set ?

ECP sell SKF bearings, very good quality. OE spec or better as far as I'm aware. I'm sure some decent GSF bearings will be as good.
