An Ice 'what's It Worth' Question!

Recommended Posts

My father bought an audi cabriolet a good few months ago which came with quite a decent audio install. It's entirely wasted on him and truth be told I've no real interest in it either. He's going to keep the head unit, but would be interested in moving the amp, sub and sub enclosure on. I'd appreciate any advice on what he should ask for the following kit.

Kenwood KAC8403 4 channel amp

Alpine sub enclosure with 12" Kenwood speaker?

It was installed 2 years ago and is fully receipted, but the receipt includes the head unit and the other car speakers.

Any advice would be appreciated, it is in Northern Ireland, so wouldn't really be suitable for postage just in case anyone thinks this is a subtle 'for sale' thread.

Many thanks Mark

Well it specifcally depends on the model of the sub/enclosure. But I wouldn't ask for more than £130.

seeing as you'd be asking for them to collect i'd say around £100, but upto £150 tops, it all depends on the condition of them and as said by lemmingzappa, the model of the enclosure

Good points chaps. They are 'as new' in my opinion and the enclosure really is a beauty compared to those MDF abominations that people made when I was at school. I'll dig out the memory card and post up a few snaps just so you can see it. But I greatly appreciate your input. I think he'd be happy with £100+ (- my commission ;):D )

check how much the same items are going for on ebay always worth looking for prices if you are unsure of what it's worth.
