205/309 1,9 Gti Suspension ?

I am about to change the front springs/shock's on my 205 1,9 GTI.

 

Can i use 309 1,9 GTI items ?.

 

What would be the difference ?

- Ridehight ?

- harder/softer shock's ?

 

... or ?

Slightly harder damped, spring rate might be slightly higher too, probably makes a decent cheap upgrade.

 

I don't think the ride-height will differ a lot if at all.

 

You could of course searched to find this out though i should think!
