Usually drive from kent to devon, if i get stuck, will need to be prepared for ANYTHING! oooh, need hiking boots too, can be lots of walking to the nearest motorfactors incase a belt falls off or snaps or a pipe dies.

In fact you should really take your 205 out with a trailer with a spare 205 on it in case you need spares.

OOOH, french car driving, its a challenge to get the car somewhere with not much falling off on-route!

An AK47 and about 500 rounds of ammunition. It can solve most problems.

I'll give it to the AA that some of their blokes know their sh*t.

I broke down twice on the way back from due to a dodgy alternator, managed to get to Cherwell services on M40 and it was totally dead. AA mechanic came along and jump started me and it lasted about another 10mile just about.

Broke down again on M40 unsuprisingly, second AA bloke turned up and diagnosed problem straight away.

Big bar and hammer on alternator, BANG problem sorted (alternator charge ring thing freed off) and I got home :)

If only the second AA man had turned up first!

If your car is in good working order then there's no reason you should need to take any tools with you! The only time I take tools in the 205 is when I go to Germany.

If something moves and it shouldn't: Duct Tape

If something doesn't move and it should: WD40

If either of the above won't fix it: hammertime.
