1.9 Turbotechnics - Which Exhaust ?

Hi guys, as title, in the middle of renewing parts on our 205 TurboTechnics. At the moment, it has the standard exhaust that i believe was modified by TurboTechnics?

 

What im after basically, is some advice on which exhaust to replace it with as its tired and old, also leaking from the middle section.

 

Am i right in thinking a standard 1.9 GTi system will strangle the extra power?

 

At the same time i dont want something which looks OTT!

 

I know there are lots of Exhaust upgrade threads, but i just wanted the opinion of people who have experienced systems on their TT!

 

Would appreciate any input

If you are running standard power then a standard gti exhaust should suffice.

Personally when I had mine, I had the TT system and then a replacement TT rear section when needed. I'm sure it was larger bore than standard.

 

Never tried a standard system on it though

I'd just get a repro of the std system as you have the pattern, Again will keep with the car's appeal
