stiofan 0 Posted May 18, 2010 Trying to renew the front brake pads at the moment, was able to slide in the inner pad just about but cant slide the caliper open enough to fit the outer pad, is there any obvious way to do this? Thanks, steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Cameron 16 Posted May 18, 2010 Get a screwdriver in there and lever the pads away from the disc, you'll need to push the piston back into the calliper fully before fitting new pads too. Check your brake fluid level when you do this though, it can come spewing out sometimes! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SurGie 54 Posted May 18, 2010 If your bleed nipples are in good nick you can loosen them a little so when you push the brake piston in the fluid will seep out so it will make it easier to push the piston in if its too hard to push. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
