Ht Lead Holder Won't Fit?

Recommended Posts

jason7579

The pipe pictured (split one going to oil filler cap I think) is getting in the way and I can't get the HT LEad holder to fit in front or behind it?

Any ideas? Have I got something on wrong or is it just the wrong hose on that pipe?

Errrr.... that shouldn't be there. That should be a bleed point for the thermostat.

If that goes to the oil filler cap, that pipe should be connected to the top of the throttle body.

Thanks, think I need a good look at my leads and wires then!!! No wonder the hose doesn't fit.

Should that pipe have a screw in it then or should it be open?

Thanks for the help.

Should have a plastic thumbscrew in there, but they're almost always snapped off leaving the bleed point sealed. If there was nothing in there, it would gush coolant out (and into the oil filler cap, which would be FAR from ideal)

Did some midnight mechanics and found out mine has the brass screw too. No idea why the hose went to it?

Thanks for the help
