Rear Wiper Motor

How can I test if my spare rear wiper motor works? It's out of the car but as I'm not great with electrics I'm not sure which part of the relay to connect to the batt. etc.

 

There's 3 wires going into the relay; a yellow (live), black (earth) and a blue.

 

Then there's four going from the relay, a white, grey and two blues.

 

When I connect the yellow and black to the car batt. there is a click from the relay but nothing moves?

Plug it into your car & see if it works?

 

I think you might need to connect both the yellow & blue to the positive from looking at the wiring diagram in Haynes.
