Wanted Mi16 Advice Local To Bath/bristol

I have just go hold of a 205 Mi16 Rally car which, I have being trying and failing due to work and other toys, got outside my house.

 

It is a scruffy but serviceable car which appears to have all the right bits.

 

whilst I understand Mini's (played with them for a few years) I know nothing about 205's and nothing about Mi16's.

 

I was wandering whether there were any members localish to me that could help me go over the car and point out the obvious.

 

First outing in it will be Keevil in Jul so no pressure yet...

i currently have a broken leg and the other one is absolutly screwed. this is due to a motorbike accident, but if it isnt fixed by the time that i'm walking again then i'll pop over for a look, i have an MI16 i just put in mine and got that working ok eventualy.

 

as DrSarty says; what issues are you having? it may be a simple common problem which we can just give you the answer to on here!

I am in Box nr Corsham just off the A4.

 

I have no real problems as such (Haven't dug to much into the car at the moment).

 

What I am after is someone to walk round the car with me to go over the Mi16 install and see if they spot any issues and chat through 205's for competition use. The car has been rallied in the past so I am not expecting any horror stories.

cool, i pop out there every now and again with work (i work on the railway and so go there alot, and often walk the entire 2 miles of box tunnel)

 

so should you have not got anyone to have a look at it for you in a month or so's time then give me a shout and i'll pop over. gotta let my legs heal up first.
