Removing 5th Gear Hub From A Be1 Box

i am getting the crown wheel and pinion from a mi box to use with the 1.9 gears. both boxes are be1 but i am using the mi casings as it has the clutch arm. i have done this conversion 3 times before. i have searched and found loads of information about stripping the boxes and it says to remove a circlip on the detent rod which neither of mine have and it says to remove the retaining nut which i have done and lift up the inner gear which wont budge on either of mine. am i missing something? i dont remember having this problem before

Some are sticky, the clip is only fitted on some box's on and off over the years, Just use a puller to remove it
