Refurbing Wiper Arms - What Paint To Use ?

Recommended Posts

Atari Boy

I have some rusty wiper arms, I would like to refurbish them instead of replacing them.

What do you think is the best paint to use?

I am thinking satin black Hammerite although I am concerened that is will be too shiny and look out of place. Alternativly I could do a primer coat then use a standard satin black rattle can.

Which would give the best OE look?

I did mine last year.

Sand them back with wire wool, grey primer and then a few coats of satin black.

Did my accelerator pedal at the same time - makes a big difference.

Looks like a factory(ish) finish on both.
