Fitting Peugeot Wheels On A Ford Hub

Recommended Posts

projectpug

Hi all,

Will peugeot wheels fit on a ford? I'm sure i remeber something about a centre spigot ring but upon searching i can't get a sure answer. Can anyone shed some light on it?

Thanks

Phil

Peugeot centres are bigger than ford ones also peugeot wheels will sit further out in the arches due to offset afaik.

They do go on though, a mate of mine has 205 fitment TSW stealths on his Xr2i back in the day :)

Hi as long as they go on i want them to stick out more as its for a kit car that is in need of 20mm spacers anyway so as long as they will go on then i will fit them. Does it matter that the centre bore is slightly bigger on the peugeot wheel they are going on a car with a kerb weight of 460kg if this helps.

Yes they fit, Pug centre bore is larger so they'll centre on the bolts/studs, unless you use a spigot ring to gain the correct size.

The offset will be wrong though.

You might have a problem with hubcentric wheels as the smaller hub centes wont centre the wheel properly...dunno how much of a problem this would be in practise though

get some spiggots to fit the bore of the wheel on the ford hub correctly and you'll be fine.

i ran pug wheels on a mk5 escort a few years ago no worries, but as said they do stick out a bit further in the arch
