Try turning the big slotted screw on the tb a bit. Clockwise if I remember correct. Ever so slightly at a time and pull the throttle cable a few times as you do it so the revs aren't dropping down too far.

Sounds like your throttle position sensor maybe set up wrong if the above didn't work for you. Get a Haynes manual (some pdf's about on the web) and it explains the throttle position sensor procedure. Its an easy job, just an 8mm or 7mm socket and a set of feeler gauges needed. It worked for me. My 205 used to tick over at 2000 rpm until I did this, must be the sensor moves out of place over the years.

Sticky SADs are a comon prob. You can adjust and clean these.

Easy things to start with are:

Clean out the TB and all its barbs with Carb cleaner and an air line if poss.

Check the throttle cable is allowing the butterfly to FULLY shut

Adjust the small stop screw on the TB (with the throttle cable un attached). Haynes said barely touching then 4 full turns in IIRC. This was a bit excessive for my car, I ended up with about 2.5 turns.

With the easy things out of the way then I would be looking at SAD's TPS etc...
