Gti 6 Opcon Charger

Hi All,

 

There's a supercharger set up for sale with a charge cooler from a gti6 powered car (306) It's an Opcon Charger supplied from Ecosse I'm led to believe

 

I fancy a supercharger for my own car (MI16 205) Does anyone know if this kit will bolt on to my Mi16 alloy block or is this a no go ?

would be alot easier if u used the gti-6 engine

 

if you stuck with the mi then really only the supercharger would be of use and you would need to do the rest from scratch basically a full conversion

So I assume the mounting points are different for the charger on the mi and the gti6 ?

 

If thats the case I would be aswell sticking with making up my own brackets etc for the eaton charger.

 

Is the inlet manifold from the gti 6 a direct fit onto the Mi head do you know ?

you wouldnt have enough room for the charge cooler etc as the way it was all set out was for the 306 so it would all have to be amended or a i/c fitted instead

 

pretty much easier starting from scratch or using a gti-6 engine
