Green And White Wires Under The Bonnet

There are two wires, one green and one white coming from the main loom in the right hand side of the engine bay, both with a blue femal spade connector but not connected to anything.

 

I havn't got the headlights or fog lights in, but both the wires for those are accounted for.

 

Are they meant to be on anything?

If they're not for washer bottle motor or side repeaters , my guess is fog lamps (should be yellow 2pin connector instead , but someone might chop it off) .. horn is just one brow wire IIRC , and it's earthed via chassis ..

 

Green/yellow is deffo earth , and white one will be positive i.e. power supply , so try to poke the white one with the mulitmeter and operate wash/wipe on the stalk , LH side repeaters (though if one of them is unplugged you'll notice fast repeaters operation/clicking sound if you switch the RH one ..) , fog lamp switch .. and you'll see which of the above switches supply @ the white wire ..

Just remembered I took my washer bottle out last week, that's what it is!

 

But I'm glad you said about the horn wire Damir, as my horn doesn't work and there is a single brown wire floating about in that area, so that's obviously why!

 

On that note, where should the horn be? As I don't think there is one...

It goes on the LH half-frame , under the headlamp/bumper bolted on the bumper mounting bar ..
