Gt28 Turbo, Actuator Set To .9 Bar, But Will Only Hit Standard Boost

Recommended Posts

as title, i have a gt28 turbo, with the actuator set at .9 bar by pug1off also have a dump valve and cooler fitted, but its only hitting standard boost. I guess this is down to the boost control solenoid, so can i bypass it with a t-piece or fit a bleed valve inline (ran one on old turbo at 1 bar for 8 months)?

thanks in advance

Matt

either put the bleed valve in or just put the vac pipe straight to the actuator bypassing the boost control and that would give you .9

will this cause the ecu to throw any wobblys if its not geting a reading from the solenoid?

no it will be fine so long as you also leave the solenoid connected via the ecu just disconnect it from the vac pipes
