will it run without the tps wired up as im running the mi16 inlet on the 8v wiring? and the plus are different

also the wire for the icv does not reach (shall i just make it longer?) or can this be left off or will it stop it from running? cheers guys

Mi16 TPS is the same as the 8v TPS so it should fit straight on without any problem.

The engine will run without the icv plugged in, unplugging it either raises or drops the idle speed very slightly iirc.

If your using the 8v wiring loom then it doesn't have an ICV plug anyway though.

Graham.

and dont have a 3 pin plug for the tps. i have 1 joined from the crank/flywheel sensor going back in to the main loom and another from the ignition module to the 8v dizzy, is this wrong?

That'll be for the SAD - remember, this is an 8v loom meant for an 8v engine, which doesn't have an ICV!

That's your problem.

1.9 8v non-CAT's don't have a crank sensor - they get the timing signal from the dizzy. That lead you've plugged in is the TPS one.
