Knocking, Clattering Noise From Front Offside Suspension?

Driving along the other day at 50mph and slowing down to a roundabout. I heard a knocking noise from the fron left. When i carried on driving as i pressed on the throttle it would make the same noise. Also the steering wheel would tug to the left and if i let go of the wheel, the car would start to steer left. by the time i finished my journey the noise had stopped. I have drove another 50miles since and all has been fine. Well the noise is back now and it started on the same roundabout again?? Can anyone identify what the noise could be and how to address the problem!

possibly the diff or a CV joint.

Check your wheel bolts are tight.

a second on wheel bolts, had it last night

 

then top mounts, lower pinch bolt on wishbone. and driveshafts.

Wheel bolts are fine. Checking the top mounts do you mean the 3 bolts that secures the suspension arm? I have checked that. How do i check the lower pinch bolt and driveshafts?

with a torque wrench and suitable socket/s
