Fuel Pump Supply And Return Lines

Ok, I swapped my pump with another I had spare. I took note of the position of the hoses, as the Haynes said, but the pumps weren't identical. The one I removed doesn't look like the pump shown in the Haynes. But it had the hoses marked. But the pump shown in the Haynes, I can't figure out the markings. So, which hose is the supply? And which is the return? I noticed one has like a smooth top, while the other one is caved in with a dot in the middle. See picture below.

Is the one close to the electrical connection the supply or the return? The dome where the hose attaches is caved in with a dot in the middle.

I've connected it as the return.

The one in the centre of the pump (so next to the electrical plug) is the supply.

Fiddlesticks. Thanks Steve. Will go and switch the hoses around now.
