Caliper Upgrade?

Hi Guys

 

I have some GTI6 calipers that I am fitting on my 205, my question is does anyone know if the redundant 1.9 calipers could be an upgrade for my 106 gti?

only if they are in good condition and the 106 ones are worn out.

106 ones are a little bit of a state. Are the pistons similar sizes and do they take the same size discs?

exactly the same discs, I think both use a 48mm piston but I'm not 100%, the 106 calliper has a much larger pad surface area, same ATE calliper as used on the 306/xsara's.

Ok Mate, Thanks. The 205 calipers are quite tidy so I'll give them a coat of paint and whack them on
