1.9 Calipers On Gti6 Hubs

hi

ive currently got gti6 hubs and brakes with speedlines but i want to drop to 14" wheels, am i able to fit 1.9 calipers on these hubs and would it then take 14" wheels.

Not with the big disc but if you fit the standarrd sized 1.9 discs you should be fine although some have mentioned clearance issues with 1.6 alloys & this set up.

Yes, straight fit as GTi-6 hubs are identical offset to 1.9 hubs

 

(indeed, lower spec 306's like TD's have 1.9 disks as standard)
