Roof Skin Replacment Best Option For Invisible Finish?

Hi Everyone

 

Just brought another 205 Gentry but this one has a aftermaket non sliding sunroof. Dont like em!!!!!

 

I wish to put it back to how it would have been, non sunroof. But I dont want it to be abvious ive blanked it (totally invisible would be nice)

 

Whats the best way (safest for the structure) as I not sure how to go about it!

 

I also wish NOT to de-value it badly!

 

Welding is not a problem, I have an amazin mate who's welding is TOP, so this kinda issue is ok. Dont fancy cutting all 6 pillars though!!!! Do I have to cut all of it off or is it literally just the top skin?

 

I have seen a few post via the SEARCH BUTTON but still unsure really.

 

Any advise appreciated!!!!

as long as its done to a good standard it should be just as strong IMO.
