Recommended Posts

What tyre pressures do you run on you cars for trackdays?

I have Yoko paradas on the front and toyo T1Rs on the back. Running lowered gas adjustable suspension with standard camber at the front and parralell toe, rear is gti6 arms so 1.5 deg neg and toeing in slightly. Oh and its a stripped out 309.

Appreciate any advice as im at mallory on saturday.

Start at 30 all round and then adjust from there depending on wear and temperature.

Whatever you're starting at, you'll want to re-check after a couple of laps. The pressures will increase by 5+ psi when the tyres get hot!

I think I was running 24psi last 'ring trip and that worked nicely, but my tyres have quite stiff sidewalls.
