tdr_1976 41 1 Cars Posted April 29, 2010 Has anyone here done this on their 205, and if so, how? I'm tempted, but not sure if it's worth it and what's the legality of it running in a road rally car class?
tri_longer 25 Posted April 29, 2010 of a fashion yes. As they were crap anyway, i replaced the side bolts by fitting rivnuts in place and just use large cap head bolts. The front two I replaced with bonnet pins using the orignal mounting brackets to hold the pins in place. The valance is bolted to the bumper so to remove its off with the bonnet pins and few secs with an allen key for the side bolts........job done.
tdr_1976 41 1 Cars Posted April 29, 2010 Sounds like a job worth doing to me! Thanks for your reply mate!
clen666 2 Posted April 30, 2012 Found this thread whilst searching on Google so thought I'd bump it back up. I'm thinking of removing all the inner skin of my 306 bumper, and then securing it using the two outer mounting points supported by two pins in the center. Can anybody answer the question in legality, as driving around with two impaling tools sticking out the front sounds like it could be a bit naughty?
