Major Oil Leak Webber's

Hi All,

 

Just got my 205 1.9 Gti on the road, its running 45 webbers. As the injection system isnt there anymore there is nothing to connect the vacume pipes that come off the oil filler cap to, i think that this is where it is spraying out of. Have any of you had problems with this when doing a carb conversion? Have you fitted a catch tank?? any help wound be appreciated.

is it a normal occurrence then?

i guess so as ive seen a lot of people fit them, with the carbs fitted

I am using a pipercross breather filter on on one end of filler cap and other just long hose down to floor.

Just ordered a tank so hopefully that will cure it! Thanks for the help
