Recommended Posts

Iain-gti

I no there has been a lot of posts about this but, im so confused of what suspension to use. so many people think some many different set ups. What would people say are the best ive heard that,

1) 306 gti6 front struts with eibach low springs and stiffer top mounts.

2) gaz coil overs

3) bilstein struts with top mounts and lower springs

4) gmax front struts

Just wanted to know the best set up some many out there!

Thanks Iain

Koni shocks with eiback springs seem to be the best choice, sorry for the spelling.

What's your budget and what are you using the car for - without answers to those, no one can begin to recommend anything.

For fast road, Eibach spring £85.00, Bilstein B4 fronts £110 with new mounts/bearing etc and Gti6 Rear K6 shocks(£60.ish iirc), with Grp N mounts (approx £25.00) and a shiney rebuilt beam lowered a spline.

New mounts, and the eibachs, will be a good start if the others bits arnt too bad.
