Pain In The Abs.....

Ok it's not for the 205, its for the ZX but it's getting a little annoying. It's got the 4 wheel ABS (presumably the same system on early 306s) and the warning light comes on far too often. Occasionally when braking on dry roads the ABS will get the idea that one or more of the wheels have locked and will start interfering, loud ABS noise followed by a serious lack of brake power, it always stops just perhaps a little slower than it would normally!

 

First place to look? I'm about to go and check that everything is still plugged in and it's not too corroded. If, say, one or more of the sensors have gone how do I tell which one(s)?
