Car totally stripped apart from cylinder block, gear box and front axle. Getting all excited about getting the bodywork started and i find this! :)

Does this mean new block? I'm really going for showroom so I guess I answered my own question but can it be fixed?

For those who haven't noticed, its the crack on the rear mount top fixing!!

Can't recall how many bolts are there on the mount :) 4 perhaps ... if so 3 of them will be enough , though , might try to fix this cracked fixing with epoxy metal ...

Anyway , the right bolt fixing looks , kinda bent too :) as if the car had some sort of crash on the RH side .. or something ..

Hadn't noticed that but your quite right. I'll have a look in the morning to check its not the photo! Any idea what a block alone might go for on here? The wear on the liners etc is none existant so it would be a shame to loose them! I was going to fully overhaul anyway so swapping the contents to another block shouldn't be too bad!

Well , if you plan to rebuild it then yes , as you've said might replace complete block then rather than messing about with fixing this one :) ..

Plenty of people here with spares , so someone ought to have a spare block for you ..
