Toad Ai606 Programming - Help!

Recommended Posts

Simes

Hi,

1/Alarm installed

2/All works nicely

3/Decide to get the chirp to sound on lock and unlock, works first time

4/Chirp is annoying

5/Want to turn chirp off

6/I follow the instructions......into programming mode

7/Am now in the switch setting for all functions on switch one.

8Go to to disable the chirp 1-5

9/LED tells me that the chirp is off.

10/This is not true as it continues to chirp, allied to that it chirps when the doors are physically opened.

11/Try to reset all switches back to default - this doesn't work

12/Repeat the above many times

13/No joy...shout a bit.

Has anyone else had this?

Any form of solution?

not much help i know but on mine if i dont want the alarm to chirp when arming or disarming all i have to do is press the button below the locking one once then what ever one i want to activate. this will then open or lock the doors silently.(bar the sound of the nackered motors jumping around like crazy  )

Thanks, but unfortunately that would not fix the chirp happening everytime you physically shut the door.

I've fixed it now by simply disabling all the options on switch one, tomorrow I will reintroduce them until I find the offender. Basically the alarm is not doing what the guide expects it to do!
