What Exhaust Do You Run On Your Gti6 Conversion?

Just out of interest really, I've had a couple of different types on mine and have now gone back to the standard 1.9 one

 

What are you lot running?

 

Have you just adapted a 205 item to fit?

Just about to along with Miles super manifold he supplied me!

I made the downpipe but use a 205 scorpion centre and rear silencer, its what I had lying around.

I use a wedge plate, the original GTi6 manifold. Than part of the original GTi6 downpipe, welded to my Magnex centre and a Magnex rear silencer.

As long as the system is a good quality 2" bore the std engine is fine on them, Magnex's and the Phase 1 systems are restrcitive

Miles, what's restrictive about a Magnex? My Magnex is a 2" one. I changed the original 4" Magnex tailpipe for a 3" one.

the 2" pipe I'd imagine, seeing as Miles's systems are 2.25" or 2.5" IIRC

Cut and welded the 205 downpipe and welded a 18mm nut to accept the Lambda sensor. Try to use a Ph2 downpipe without the split down middle. Ph2 systems are bigger bore.

 

Middle section is off a standard system I believe with a STD mid box and an Ashley rear box. Tad too loud for my liking. Will stay til Cameron starts manufacturing his custom exhaust that look bad ass
