I use an early Vauxhall metal one. You also ought to cut off the fuel lines under the car and re-route them up out of the way of the turbo IMHO.

There's also a Nissan skyline fuel filter that's the same dimensions as the 106 one iirc, this would be worth more "scene" points

I went to my motor factors and found one from a Alfa Romeo which sits quite nicely on the inner wing.

Good stuff. Is there a preferred type of fuel line I should run (silicone? /rubber? /braided? /other?), I haven't altered my fuel supply lines before -will I require connectors at each end or will a jubillee 'type' fastener suffice?

On a more thorough note, to run fuel lines through the interior of the car like I have done while routing my brake lines, can I get access to the fuel pump end easilly enough to connect the supply line, and any tips on doing this job from someone with the benefit of hindsight (where to route the lines and fastened them etc?)

Cheers all

Mine are normal rubber fuel hose. However if I was running them in the car then I would use something shielded. Not sure it is a good idea running inboard fuel lines if you are not rallying.

Fuel line and filter purchased today, I plumped for a filter made for an M5 in the end and Halfords fuel line -quite compact the filter is and should do the job nicely come tomorow.

Q. When I chop the lines underneath the car to allow clearance for the turbo, what method should I use to join the rubber fuel hose to it? -Should I use a union of sorts or a 'standard type jubillee' fastener?

Cheers

Ideally you flare the ends of the fuel pipes just to assist in case the clips work loose. I was under mine the other day and took a pic for you. The shielding just reduces chances of chaffing
