Ignition Leads

Hi I am in the process of replacing the ignition leads on my 1.6 GTI is there any benefits in fitting anything other than the original Bosch ones?

I beg to differ, everyset of Bosch leads I've fitted to a pug, one of the ends always stayed on the plug when you next went to either check the plugs or change them.

 

I got a set from motaquip last time I bought some for a friend which were cheaper than Bosch & imo better quality.

I was looking at the Lumenition silicone leads as an option any thoughts?

8mm silicone, ends dont fall off, king lead is nice and short, 205 specific, £36 delivered.

 

Just bought my second set Previous ones lasted over 2 years and were only replaed because the dizzy connectors started corroding.

You won't get any better performance from those leads over a standard set...

Bougicord every time!

 

Have known them to last 10 years and still be fine.

I know they offer zero preformance benifit (despite the company name), I made no claims about performance. They are however good high quality & cheap leads
