Running Gear Colour Choices

A bit of an odd one this.

 

I am fitting a Trans X diff later this week or early next and as I don't have access to a ramp and can't be bothered to take the gearbox out I have got the car up on stands and have dropped out the subframe and running gear.

 

As is usually the case when something comes off the car it gets a good coat of looking at and I decided that I should give the subframe some love and took it to bits and had it, my new 1.9 hubs, L shaped gear linkage and bottom engine mount bracket sand blasted.

 

I have primed all the components with some Epoxy primer and need some thoughts on colour choices for the bits.

 

My thinking is as follows:

 

Subframe - Blue to match the BBM hoses and rocker cover

 

ARB - Kawasaki Green (long live the memory of Team Kermit!)

 

Hubs - Black?

 

I don't want the thing to look like a chavmobile but am a bit reluctant to just paint it all black.

 

Please let me have your opinions on what your thoughts are!

I'm doing a gti6 conversion on a black 205 and is defo painting my subframe yellow lol !

 

But colour is of opinion !!!

I couldn't do it.

 

I have gone for black hubs and subframe with Kwak green ARB. I thought it would just look too chavtastic done in blue.

on a whim i got my rear bean powder coated in battleship grey

 

no idea why, it seemed a good idea at the time!!

I'm not sure if I'd want to work at the place where they powder coat battleships TBH. They must have a big f*ck off oven and conveyor rail!

It would be a hell of a place for a hog roast though!!

id go for subframe yellow anti roll bar red same with the axle yellow torsion bars red

 

but i do like the sound of ninja green but then id do the frame black

still look sweet blue tho as it would go with the hoses
