306 Gti6 Rev Counter

My friends gti6 rev counter does not work, any common problems or ideas on where to start please?

Has it been wired in?

Has the Rev Counter Adaptor been fitted?

VSS on the gearbox could be knackered. Does it run alright?

VSS does not do the rev counter....

 

check the multiplug on the chassis leg byt the air filter, then follow the wiring across the bottom of the front rad support crossmember.

 

unsure which fuse you could check though before looking at the wiring.

D'oh moment! I've just swapped mine as the speedometer became intermittent.

If a phase 2 on, Wiggle the large fuses in the fuse box, I;ve done this a couple of time with sucess.
