I wrote my 205 off three weeks ago so would not have been coming in mine either, I wouldn't worry.

My 205 will be back on the road soon though.

My 205 is a project on wheels, today I have been striping more carpet, treating more tin worm and sorting out the harness'

 

Which 205 are you looking for 1.6, 1.9, or Mi etc?

Driving a G plate graphite grey 1.6gti at the moment (admittedly the other half's), complete with obigatory horrendous laquer peel

Mine has had the Gti6 treatment and it really does turn the 205 into one hell of a car, fairly cheap conversion aswell.

Ive had a 306gti6 so I know what the engine is like wouldnt be fussed if I got a mi16 either

there are a fair few 205 Gtis around this area just I regularly see 2 or 3 but I don't think they are on here.

I have one with an MI in and one with a GTI-6 in and I think the GTi-6 engine is better, pulls much better, yes it heavy but you dont notice it, its a stronger engine.

There aint that many for sale with the gti6 conversion and some of the i16 conversions look tatty may have to just buy a clean 1.9 and do it myself how hard can it be?

Yeah its a bargain, 306 GTi-6 engine, done 10k miles only! Was a brand new engine when conversion was done, comes complete with supercharge kit and remapped ecu, all wiring, electric pas (if you want it), front mounted charge cooler, basicly everyhting needed to bolt straight in!!

 

All for just £2800!

 

A supercharger kit on its own would cost that! I can also fit it if anyone needed!
